The Biome story
We started Biome because we were tired of our own health data being scattered across a dozen apps, PDFs, and patient portals that don't talk to each other.
The data exists. The connection didn't
We live in an era of unprecedented health data. Smartwatches log every heartbeat. Labs generate pages of biomarkers. We track sleep, steps, glucose, meals, and supplements -- often across five or six different apps.
But none of it connects. Your Apple Watch doesn't know about your blood panel. Your doctor has never seen your sleep data. Your supplement routine has no relationship to your lab results.
The result: people who care deeply about their health are drowning in data but starving for understanding. And providers who want to deliver personalized care simply don't have the full picture.
That's the problem Biome exists to solve.

What we're building and why
Biome brings every health signal into one place -- wearables, medical records from 50,000+ organizations, lab results, supplement logs, meals, vitals, and more. Then AI does what no human can: it finds patterns across all of it, calculates daily health scores, and turns raw numbers into clear, personalized guidance.
For patients, Biome is the first app that actually shows you how your body is doing -- not just one metric at a time, but the whole picture. For providers, it's a window into your patient's daily health that no office visit could ever replicate.
We believe the future of health isn't more data. It's better understanding. And that starts with connecting what's been disconnected for far too long.
The principles behind everything we do
Ownership
Your health data is yours. Not your insurer's, not a walled-off app's. Biome puts every data point you generate -- from wearables, labs, records, and daily logs -- under your control in one place.
Clarity over noise
More data doesn't automatically mean better health. Biome's AI distills thousands of daily signals into scores, trends, and recommendations you can actually act on -- without a medical degree.
Prevention first
Catching a problem early is always better than treating it late. Continuous tracking, daily health scores, and intelligent alerts are designed to keep you ahead of issues, not chasing them.
Shared understanding
When patients and providers look at the same data, conversations change. Biome closes the gap between what you track every day and what your doctor sees once a quarter.
